Leaving our comfy Kittery inn, we headed to Newport in Rhode Island for some "sight-seeing". Listed as a "true sight-seeing mecca", I felt it is more of a rich man's playground from the 1800's.
After Newport, we headed towards Mystic Seaport in Connecticut. This is the world's largest maritime museum spanning across 17 acres with more than 40 buildings from 1800's. Alas, we arrived at 4.30pm and the museum closed 30mins before. The lady refuses to let us in. Lazy bastards! Dejected and tired, we headed for some love and warmth in Mystic Pizza for dinner - exactly where the self-titled movie starring Julia Roberts was filmed. I've never heard of the movie before but anyway, the pizza was good! =) We may have to head back to this charming town again...Emmanuel seemed so sad not being able to visit the museum.
With our stomachs filled, we settled in for a long drive to Catskills Mountains.
