Baby down the chimney tonight?

Ok, I'm known by those around me generally as an impatient person. So, to cut the fuse short, I'm really impatient right now.

*tap, tappity, tap, tap!!!*

Baby Theoden is not due for another 17 more days, yet we felt like he missed the train stop somehow?

*tap, tappity, tap, tap!!!*

Or...will Santa deliver him on his sleigh???
Don't think storks fly in the middle of winter here. Brr...

Christmas this year is such a quiet affair...I hardly did any Christmas shopping at all since all my energy is focused on getting the house ready for Theoden. In fact, Theoden officially has more furniture in the house than me already! What once was a rather comfy and spacious home has turned into a post-apocalypse war zone. Even my Christmas pine tree looked kinda lost among all the scatter of baby stuff.

My mom and sista will be coming to NYC in January for the first time and I can't wait to receive them! Only pity is that it is during my so-called "confinement month" where I am supposed to be confined to the house and recover from the traumatic birthing experience. On the bright side, I can finally eat my mom's comforting home-made soups and reminisce about home... AND, not forgetting all those yummy Chinese New Year goodies like pineapple tarts and kueh boh loo that she'll be bringing too!

So, if the baby comes earlier, perhaps I can recover faster and then I can also hang out a bit more with my family to show them the city. Perhaps. If only Theoden has a UPS tracking nos, perhaps I might actually know when he'll be coming. =)
