A Hippo Mum and her Massage Chair

September was a month of excess and overindulgence.

We ate so much good food no wonder I resemble a hippopotamus even tho I am only reaching my 6th month of pregnancy. Somehow, I keep consoling myself that some American moms-to-be gain 30kg in their whole pregnancy so my 7kgs thus far is really insignificant(you think???). Hmmm... *eyes rolling around v.e.r.y. s.l.o.w.l.y.*

Well, of course there were reasons behind all our indulgence. It's our first Wedding Anniversaries! I say it in plural since we were married 3x in a span of 1yr and who says we can't celebrate ALL of them? That's the kind of couple we are - we overindulge in ourselves. *big grin*

This time, my husband indulged me in a Shiatsu Massage chair which I absolutely LOVE to bits! This amazing thing even has a HEAT function and I can't wait to make full use of it when it is winter. There is no better present than this mean kneading machine to work out the tension knots from my sore back from carrying that extra 7kgs(btw, i think the baby only weighs 1kg at this point so I dun know where the rest goes, really). Merci, mon amour!

I would have posted a picture of my blissfully contented face on the massage chair except that it would probably gross you out to see a hippo-mum all splayed out like dat.

Now that I have started my yoga sessions at home with my aromatherapy ambiance, I somehow feel less achy everywhere. The baby is kinda moving in me in an alien sorta way(like your stomach is doing a wave) instead of football kicks and man, that's wierd. Guess u really can't understand what I'm saying unless you have one inside your tummy doing the exact same thing. *Hi-5, all moms!*

And Syl sweetie, I have the same problem as you. Facebook is truly an addiction!!! Before I know it, I've already spent my morning on it! I guess for people like us who has tons of free time on their hands can't stay away from throwing food fights and buying friends a round of drinks every now and then, eh? *wink* Dun worry, we will "wean" this off in no time(I hope).

Now...time for yoga.
Om...

Fabs that you have a new shiatsu chair (pat on back to papa Emmanuel!) and post up a pix of yourself already. Don't be shy now, you know you wanna... heh heh heh.
