A bite of Italian heaven...

Ladies & gentlemen, Emmanuel and I just tasted heaven.

Seriously!

I've never been a big fan of tomato-based pastas, but this time, I am so heavily convinced by the freshly home-made tomato sauce that I think it will be the only type of pasta sauce I will eat for a long time.

Here's why: LOBSTER FRADIAVOLI @ DA NICO'S ITALIAN RESTAURANT IN LITTLE ITALY.

The plate arrived with a kingly-looking lobster(1/2 of a 1.5pound for 1 person) surrounded by fresh mussels and clams and nicely frayed giant shrimps topping the most delicious linguine AND spicy tomato sauce underneath. This is the underwater treasure all divers seek in their deep-dea explorations. Right on my dinner table. *orgasm*

(From the pictures, you can tell that Emmanuel is really devouring the lobster!)

They also offer it for 2 persons with the whole lobster and it is definitely recommended cos I really wanted to EAT EVERYTHING UP on my plate instead of sharing with my husband! Grudgingly, I had to switch to the quattro stagioni pizza when my husband's eager(and very hungry) eyes almost burned a hole through my lobster plate. The pizza is good but after my lobster fradiavoli, everything seriously pales in comparison to it. We did the french style of cleaning up plates and wiped it so clean with our bread that any existence of pasta before was totally erased.

Tips: They have a pretty tented garden seating area inside and if it were not so hot these days, it would have been pretty romantic. The tomato caprese is also one of their signature dishes along with the lobster fradiavoli. The complimentary dessert called zeppoles is some deep fried dough dusted with icing sugar and truthfully, I would have forgone it cos it actually spoilt the end of my evening with the oily after taste! Stick to safe bets like tiramisus. Can't go wrong.
