Love this shot. And the door. (Found in St. Mark's Plc, East Village)
One the 1st day where the heatwave hit NYC, Mami-chan and I wandered around Broadway and east V. and Lower East Side in the sweltering heat. When we arrive to find our restaurant closed for lunch, we were on the verge of eruption like Mt. Bromo in Indonesia. It's the humidity. It makes people edgy and drives some insane. Unlike SG where the humidity and heat is 365 days round, our lil' city is well equipped to handle the heat. Everywhere is air-conditioned. The train, the bus, the malls, the underground pass, etc. In NYC, only 2 subway stations are climatized. 2% of the cars in the subway trains break down and do NOT have air-con. It's alrite in winter, but in summer...it's like a movie setting for a mass murder about to happen. And...there are no huge malls in the city for you to shop in comfort from shop to shop. Uh-huh...it is blast from the cold air and blast of hot air next when you walk around Fifth Avenue.

Love this junk of a picture. =)
