Emmanuel outdone himself that night cooking a mediterranean dish of lemon chicken and it was lipsmackinglicious! YUMZ! Lucky Kim and Dan were over at our place for this delish dinner and happy Kim received her birthday present from us. 
*BIG SMi)ES*Old friends of Emmanuel all the way from Kentucky dropped by for lunch and the man himself cooked up a storm with our trusted French cookbook. I made fresh custard for the first time and it curdled. *&^%$#^*@#! Nothing that a little whip can't fix. ;)
After lunch, we drove to Pearl River in NJ where a Jap colleague of Emmanuel is throwing a BBQ and boy, it was a feast indeed! Juicy and tender chunks of Kobe beef(salivate!), freshly rolled sushi, Kirin Biru(my fav beer!), assortment of jap snacks(crunch, crunch)
and red bean desserts, the great NY cheesecake, oven baked mushrooms with fatty bacon and cheese(mmm...) and we simply bloated up like Harry Potter's Aunt Petunia. *burp!* Ce'st sibonne! I was shocked to find out how the Japanese make the delicious Kobe beef - the cows are fed beer and massage to get them all fatty and yummy! What the...?? The atrocious us humans do for the sake of food.... Anyways, it was definitely a great weekend of pure food indulgence!
